VARIETY DESCRIPTIONS
SE Supreme
SouthEastern Turf continually evaluates and selects cool
season grasses based on their performance in key areas such as color,
density, and disease resistance and most importantly heat and draught
tolerance. SE Supreme performs extremely well in shade and full sun. It is
very uniform in color and is extremely draught and heat resistant. SE
Supreme makes an excellent lawn and will make your neighbors green with
envy.
TennLawn Bermuda
TennLawn Bermuda is a hybrid bermudagrass which is
excellent for residential and commercial lawns when a warm season turf is
desired. TennLawn is medium to fine textured, has a beautiful green color
and is extremely heat and draught resistant. TennLawn overseeds easily and
has quick spring green up.

Certified 419 Bermuda is a warm season grass, which is dark green, dense, and low
growing via rhizomes and stolens. Its root system is extensive and very
deep. It is best adapted to hot and dry climates with excellent heat
tolerance up to 110 degrees F. It performs best during periods of heat,
and has a winter dormancy periods. Certified 419 Bermuda is a highly drought
resistant grass. It requires full sun for most of the day to grow
properly. It can tolerate heavy traffic, and when injured, recovers
rapidly. It is the grass of choice for consistently high quality golf
course fairways. It overseeds nicely and transitions well.
SE Select Ultradwarf Bermuda
SE Select is a natural selection found on an existing golf
course. SE Select was not only chosen for high quality putting surfaces,
it can be used on tees for superior surfaces. SE Select's natural
low-growing habit and high shoot density produces some of the best putting
surfaces available. SE Select has a great dark green leaf color with great
root density. SE Select exhibits great wear resistance and quick recovery
on heavily trafficked greens. SE Select has been grown in Middle Tennessee
for several years therefore it shows excellent low temperature tolerance,
early spring green-up and late fall dormancy. SE Select can be grown on
most native soils and high sand content greens. SE Select can also be over
seeded easily every year with poa trivialis and bent grass.
Meyer
Zoysia
A warm season grass with a dark green color, which forms a
dense, low maintenance lawn, which spreads with stolens and rhizomes. It
tolerates heat exceptionally well with the best cold hardiness and drought
tolerance. It has a good shade tolerance (growing slow in partial shade.
Its dense nature allows it to dominate over weeds and other grasses. It
is not recommended for over seeding.
Empire Zoysia
This grass has an excellent dark green color. It provides
the look of Fescue and other cool season grasses with out the work. The
#1 choice for high quality lawns. Its beauty and functionality make Empire
Zoysia uniquely suited for homeowners and commercial users in the varying
climatic conditions of the Southern United States. It adapts to a wide
range of soil types and requires less water than most other grasses, even
in sandy loam soils. Empire Zoysia naturalizes to the local climate and
requires minimal irrigation. Its massive root system runs deep and
sustains the grass through periods of drought, heavy use, and harsh
conditions while providing rapid injury recovery. This grass demonstrates
